The weather forecast via satellites shows heavy rains approaching the southern parts of Puntland and south-eastern parts of Somaliland in the coming few hours - See map.
This will bring a relief for the tens of thousands of families who are at risk of starvation and thirst in the area. At least 350,000 people are reported to be at risk of starvation in the eastern parts of Somaliland.
