planetbiometrics.com - The Imprimerie Nationale Group has delivered a multi-biometric ID documents platform for Djibouti, supplemented by a solution for the dematerialisation and digital archiving of ID documents files.
With the deployment of this platform, the Imprimerie Nationale Group says it is supporting Djibouti, through the Ministry of Interior, in modernising and harmonising the ID document production and issuance process.
The firms says the multi-ID document solution allows the issuance of biometric passports for Djibouti citizens as well as visas and resident permit cards for foreigners. It is fully scalable to meet the future needs of the country.
The biometric ID documents are compliant with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards to facilitate worldwide travel by Djiboutians. They are highly secure to prevent fraud, protect the identity of citizens and allow them to travel safely.
This platform is complemented by a solution for the dematerialisation and digital archiving of documents and applicant files that will enable the provision of high-performance administrative services to the Djiboutian population.
According to the firm, the solution will allow Djiboutians abroad to apply for a biometric passport at all of the country’s embassies and consulates. Foreigners will also benefit from the harmonisation of the visa application and delivery system.
Imprimerie Nationale Group will be exhibiting at SDW 2017 – 26-28 June 2017 in London, UK. SDW is a world-leading conference and exhibition event for those in the identity marketplace, focusing on intrinsic document security including the latest innovations in design, production and use.
