Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) announced today that he has discussed the release of jailed Ethiopian-born Saudi Arabian Sheik Mohammed Al Al Amoudi with the Saudi Crown Price Mohammad Bin Salman and said that he got positive response.
“We have requested 10 things from the Saudi Crown Prince and nine of them got acceptance by the crown prince. The one unanswered request was Al Amoudi’s release; but I can assure you that he will come home soon,” he said to a gathering at the Millennium Hall.
Abiy said that Al Amoudi did not return from Saudi along with the PM because of the influence of the family of the crown prince. But, he assured he will soon be released.
