Cairo, January 15, 2020, SPA -- At the conclusion of its meetings today, the Arab Parliament issued two statements regarding Syria and Somalia.
In a statement on "Follow-up of developments in the federal republic of Somalia", the Arab Parliament affirmed its support for the Federal Republic of Somalia in defending its sovereignty and unity, and condemned external interference in its internal affairs.
On the developments in the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic, the Arab Parliament reaffirmed its full support for the sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, saying that the solution to the Syrian crisis will be achieved only through a comprehensive political process that preserves the unity and Arabism of Syria and realizes the aspirations of its people in security and stability.
