Ethiopian migrants arrive home from Zambia

MoFA Ethiopia- 147 former Ethiopian convicts who were recently pardoned by Zambia’s President, Edgar Lungu arrived in Addis Ababa on Thursday evening (January 27, 2017).

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, the 147 Ethiopian nationals were welcomed by senior MoFA officials, including Director-General for African Affairs, Metasebia Taddesse, Spokesperson Tewelde Mulugeta, and Director-General for Women Affairs, Firehiwot Asrat, among others.



The repatriation of the 147 Ethiopian nationals has been the result of series of negotiations between the governments of Ethiopia and Zambia, it was learnt
